Long time, no post
Yeah, well, see, the dog ate my homework and… Naaah, the fact is I’ve been busy. Work, the Harley, the landscaping, the girls, etc. But here’s an update.
Working for Office Depot. I’m not stocking shelves and helping customers choose printer paper. It’s more of a corporate IT gig. Application deployment, infrastructure troubleshooting. I still get the chance to write some code sometimes, but it’s mostly scripting stuff. I did build a nice PHP/Oracle web app where the team keeps track of everything we’re doing. That’s working out pretty well.
The Harley is looking good and running fast. I had some engine work done; big cylinders and a hot cam. I had it dyno-ed and tweaked and it runs like a emmer-effer.
My backyard was looking like the Sahara desert at the beginning of Spring, so I threw four pallets of sod back there and now it’s a lush green oasis. I even planted a little garden and tried to grow some tomatoes. Well, that didn’t work out as well as the grass did.
Haven’t been doing too much side work lately, there just isn’t too much time for that. But www.nutrifacts.com is still up and running and the new site, www.venompen.com is starting to pick up speed. I still have one more site in mind that I want to build, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to it.
